Dolphins Head to Florida Relays and Embry Riddle Classic

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville University track and field team will continue its outdoor season at the Pepsi Florida Relays, hosted at the James G. Pressly Stadium, Percy Beard Track in Gainesville, Florida, on Friday and Saturday, March 29th and 30th. The meet is set to kick off at 8 a.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. on Saturday. Additionally, the women will participate in the Embry Riddle Running Elements Classic on March 29th, with the meet slated to commence at 9:30 a.m. The Jacksonville University track and field team will participate in the Pepsi Florida Relays and Embry Riddle Classic on March 29th and 30th at the James G. The Dolphins will compete against prominent schools, including Florida, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Illinois, Miami, and Central Florida.

On Friday, the Pepsi Florida Relays will begin with senior take on the hammer throw at 11 a.m.

In the running events, indoor champion , ASUN 60m indoor champion and #1 ASUN-ranked and sophomore will gear up for the 4x100 relay at 2:30 p.m. The 4x400 relay is scheduled to start at 5:55 p.m.

and will also represent the green and white in the 200m dash at 4:25 p.m.

will give her all in the 400m, set to commence at 5:25 p.m.

ASUN indoor champion , who leads the ASUN in the long jump and triple jump, and Sophomore Julia Sue-Kam-ling line up in the long jump by at 6 p.m.

To conclude Friday's events at the Florida Invitational, junior will take on the 5k, starting at 8:15 p.m.

At the Embry Riddle Running Elements Classic on Friday, sophomore will tackle the steeplechase at 5:20 p.m. Shortly after, Eryn Field, , Josephine Leonard, Jalin Moss-Herbert, Annah Priyadi, and Lexi Schwartz will line up for the 1500m.

At 6:25 p.m., the 4x800m relay will feature , Jalin Moss-Herbert, Annah Priyadi, , Eryn Field, and Lexi Schwartz.

The 200m preliminaries will see sophomore take her place at 6:50 p.m.

, , and Reilly Smith will wrap up the day in the 5k at 7:40 p.m.

Saturday will showcase a flurry of Dolphin performances at the Pepsi Florida Relays. Freshman and ASUN leader will kick off in the triple jump at 9:00 a.m., while senior and #1 ranked ASUN leader in discus and shot-put will lead the charge in shot-put. At 1:30 p.m., Richard will step up again in the discus.

At 12:00 p.m., freshman will display her prowess in the high jump.

To cap off the day, ASUN indoor champion , alongside teammate , will vie for victory in the 400m at 2:40 p.m. ASUN Women's Most Valuable Performer and Guatemala native will sprint in the 100m at 3:40 p.m.
