A Jacksonville man is charged with assault by strangulation and several other offenses in connection with an alleged domestic violence incident, according to on Daquari Garrison McCray, a 34-year-old Jacksonville man, has been charged with assault by strangulation and several other offenses related to an alleged domestic violence incident. The warrants allege McCray assaulted a woman on Oct. 1, leaving marks on her throat and the woman, who was about 10 weeks pregnant at the time, was unlawfully restrained, damaged her cellphone, and interfered with her attempt to call 911. The warrant was issued on Oct 1 and a bond was not authorized.
