18 nonprofits receive boost to assist Jacksonville Beaches communities

About 20 nonprofits that serve Jacksonville's Beaches neighborhoods recently received grants from The Community Foundation for Northeast Florida. Eighteen nonprofits serving Jacksonville's Beaches neighborhoods have received about $290,000 in grants from The Community Foundation for Northeast Florida. The grants were distributed from the Beaches Community Fund, a collective giving circle of 35 families who each contribute annually to a grants pool that has invested about $2.3 million in nonprofits since 2015. The largest grant was $40,000 for Grace Garden, part of Beaches Emergency Assistance Ministries.
